What is nonolingo? A Mac app that fixes your English where you type
You just saw the name nonolingo and want to know what it is before you download anything.
Short answer: nonolingo is a Mac app that fixes your English inside the text box you are already typing in, such as Slack or Gmail. It offers a light fix that keeps your words, or a native rewrite when a sentence sounds translated. Press Tab to accept, Esc to keep yours. It is not a language course.
Who it is for
People who write work English every day but think in another language, such as Vietnamese, Korean or Spanish. Your grammar is fine. The sentence just sometimes sounds translated. See why literal translation sounds off.
How it works
- You type in any text box you can click into.
- nonolingo shows a suggestion right under the box: a light fix that keeps your words, or a native rewrite that keeps your meaning and changes the tone. You can also type in Vietnamese, Korean or Spanish and get English, or select a message to get reply drafts.
- Press Tab to accept, Esc to keep yours. nonolingo never sends a message for you.
- I will revert you soon.I'll get back to you soon.
- I very like this design.I really like this design.

Privacy in short
The text you ask nonolingo to fix is sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection to nonolingo's server and on to a third-party AI model provider to generate the suggestion. A few recent messages from the chat can be sent as context, and you can turn that off in settings. Per the policy, nonolingo does not sell your data, does not track your browsing, does not use your messages to train models and does not keep your text after the suggestion is made. Full privacy policy.
nonolingo is not Duolingo
nonolingo is not a language course: no lessons, no streaks, and it is not related to Duolingo. The name also sounds a bit like some other tools, so when you search, look for the domain nonolingo.com. If you want to learn English step by step, use a course or a tutor, then read nonolingo hay app học tiếng Anh for how to use both, or compare nonolingo with other tools.
