Appearance
nonolingo sits on top of whatever you are working in, so it should look like it belongs there.
Light, dark, system
Settings, appearance. Three choices:
- System follows macOS, and switches the moment you flip it in system settings.
- Light and dark pin it, whatever macOS is doing.
Your light theme and your dark theme are remembered separately, so switching sides gives you back the one you picked there rather than a default.
Themes
The dropdown lists the themes that fit the appearance you are in. New installs start on cocoa (dark) and latte (light), nonolingo's own palette. There are 17 themes in all, including a manga speech bubble and a liquid glass.
Docked panel
By default the panel parks at the edge of your screen and stays there instead of chasing your cursor. cmd Shift d Hides and shows it.
Drag the panel anywhere. It remembers the spot.
Prefer the old behaviour? Turn docked off and the popup appears next to your cursor again.
Transparency
The slider fades the whole panel so you can read what is behind it. Handy on a small screen. At 100% it is fully solid.
Font
Four options: clean, rounded, serif, mono. It changes nonolingo only, never your messages.
